Financing Solutions for Commercial Real Estate

I assist investors, developers, and businesses in arranging finance for commercial property acquisitions and real estate investments. My role is to structure financing solutions and introduce clients to lenders that specialise in commercial real estate lending.


Commercial property transactions often involve significant capital requirements, and the right financing structure can play an important role in enabling acquisitions and supporting long-term investment strategies.


Through relationships with specialist lenders and finance providers, I help coordinate funding solutions tailored to the property, the borrower, and the overall structure of the transaction.

What is Commercial Property Finance?

Commercial property finance refers to loans secured against commercial real estate assets. These facilities allow investors and businesses to acquire or refinance property while spreading repayments over an agreed term.

Commercial property finance is commonly used for:

  • Office buildings
  • Retail property
  • Industrial and logistics assets
  • Mixed-use developments
  • Investment property portfolios

The structure of a commercial property finance facility will typically depend on the value of the asset, the borrower’s financial profile, the strength of the income generated by the property, and the overall investment strategy.

Typical Financing Structures

Commercial property loans are usually structured as asset-backed facilities secured against the property.

Typical features may include:

  • Financing against a percentage of the property’s value
  • Loan terms typically ranging from 3–20 years
  • Fixed or floating interest rates
  • Security registered against the property
  • Financing structures based on rental income and asset quality

Lenders will generally assess factors such as tenant quality, lease length, property location, asset condition, and the borrower’s financial standing.

My Role

I assist investors and businesses in structuring commercial property finance transactions and coordinating the financing process.

My services include:

  • Structuring commercial property finance facilities

  • Coordinating discussions between borrowers and lenders
  • Assisting with financing proposals
